Carmela's Bakehouse Apple Walnut Sourdough Bread
11 oz Soft Brie - Placed in Freezer for 30 min before cutting
1 Can Cranberry Sauce
1/2 Stick Melted Butter
Pre-Heat oven to 425
Slice the bread lengthways and sideways in a crisscross type pattern, in 1 inch cubes stopping
before cutting all the way through the bread
Spread open the pockets of bread and fill each with a spoon of the cranberry sauce, trying
to get all the spaces. Don't worry if you miss a few it will still be great !!!
Remove the brie from the freezer and cut into small wedges. Pull apart and fill each cavity with a slice of brie.
Brush the filled loaf with melted butter & bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and gooey.
This can be prepared ahead of time, wrapped in cling film and stored on the counter if not too long, or in the refrigerator. Remove film before guests arrive and heat and eat !
